We have two superlative musicians in the house this weekend. Both are extraordinarily accomplished on their instruments.

Jazz Sax Master, Tom Lempner, will be at the Vine and Bean for his first swing through the parlor. With a range that might take us from sweet to spastic, all the while loving the ride, Tom will leave you without questions that he belongs on stage with the many renowned musicians he has worked with, like Noel Quintana, Eddie Baccus Sr., Chas Baker, Paul Ferguson, Lew Del Gatto and so many more.
Tom has premiered the works of Cleveland composers Nicholas Underhill, Loris Chobanian, Jeffrey Quick, and Thomas Janson. His performances have been broadcasted on 90.3 WCPN FM radio, CBS channel 7, 104.9 WCLV FM, and the Hazel Chapman Show, as he has performed in Germany, including the Lake Kostanz Music Festival, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, and throughout the United States. He has recorded with Parousia Digital and Palmyra Music. Past engagements include performances with the Canton Symphony Orchestra, Midland-Odessa Symphony, Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, Stow Symphony Orchestra, the Revelation Saxophone Quartet, and as a concerto soloist with the Kent State Orchestra. Tom performs with Cleveland Winds, Trepanning Trio, Hermit Club Jazz Orchestra, Gabriel’s Horns big band, Dan Zola Swing Big Band, Sarata Duo, Transportation Boulevard, Burning River Jazz Trio, and Neo-Tessares Saxophone Quartet. Highlights of performance venues include Severance Hall, New York’s Lincoln Center, the Cleveland Bop Stop, the House of Blues, and the Cleveland Composer’s Guild.
Tom has performed with many local and nationally-recognized artists including: Noel Quintana, Eddie Baccus Sr., Chas Baker, Paul Ferguson, Lew Del Gatto, Mike DiRubbo, Bobby Selvaggio, Rich Goldstein, Bud Wattles, Greg Banaszak, Dave Thomas, Mitsuko Morikawa, and Shirley Cook.
